All works will be carried out as agreed within your Quotation, Specification or Building Works Contract. This will outline what is included and any agreed exclusions. Should you wish to change or add to the scope, these changes will be discussed and confirmed before work proceeds.
If you request changes to the agreed works, we will explain any impact on cost and timescale and confirm this in writing before proceeding. This ensures clarity and avoids unexpected outcomes for either party.
Any timescales provided are estimates based on current information and normal working conditions. While we aim to complete works within the agreed timeframe, delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, such as weather, supply issues or unforeseen site conditions. If this happens, you will be kept informed throughout.
Clients are asked to provide safe and clear access to the property during agreed working hours. Any restrictions that prevent works from progressing may impact our ability to complete the work for you at the agreed terms.
Where items are supplied by the client, AVID Developments South West Ltd cannot be responsible for their performance, suitability or any delays relating to their supply or condition.
Payment terms will be clearly outlined within your Building Works Contract or Quotation. All invoices are payable in accordance with the agreed schedule. Materials and works in progress remain the property of AVID Developments South West Ltd until full payment has been received.
Our pricing is based on reasonably known factors at the time of quotation and normal ground or site conditions. If unforeseen issues arise, such as underground services, structural defects or unstable ground, we will discuss the situation with you and agree any necessary next steps before proceeding.
We are not responsible for defects or issues caused by pre existing structural conditions or hidden problems that could not reasonably have been identified prior to works starting.
We comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and work to maintain a safe environment for our team, clients and members of the public.
We reserve the right to temporarily pause works if payments become overdue or if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. In such cases, we will always aim to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
We may take photographs and videos during the project for record keeping, marketing and quality assurance purposes.
